5 Notational Conventions¶
主に 2 点の注意事項が述べられている。
5.1 Key words for Requirement Statements¶
The words SHALL, SHALL NOT, SHOULD, SHOULD NOT, MAY, NEED NOT, CAN and CANNOT in this specification shall be interpreted according to Annex H of ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2, Rules for the structure and drafting of International Standards, Sixth Edition 2011.
特定の助動詞が本仕様書中に現われているとき、その意味を前述した ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2 の Annex H に従って解釈するものとする。この英文法に関する知識は他の言語仕様書を読み込むときにも潰しが効くので、私の読書ノートとしては異例なのだが、別の仕様書の当該部分をここに抜粋しておく。

5.2 Annotations on Example Diagrams¶
本仕様書中にある図式の見本には説明用の注釈を含むものがある。これらを UML 図の一部と混同せぬこと。注釈用のテキストや矢印については UML 図式の境界外に記すようにしてあり、赤色で描画してある。
